Questions

Does Tiny Tides need an internet connection?

No. Fishing, the aquarium, the Journal and everything else work offline. Only the optional ads in the Shop and buying or restoring the rod need a connection.

Where is my progress saved? Can I move it to a new device?

Your journey is saved on your device only. There is no account or cloud save.

On iPhone and iPad it is part of your iCloud or computer backup, so restoring a backup onto a new device brings your journey with it. On Android it moves to a new device only if your device's own backup restores app data.

Deleting the app deletes your progress.

I bought the Gilded Dusk rod. How do I get it on another device?

Open the Shop and tap Restore purchase while signed in with the account you bought it with: your Apple Account on iPhone and iPad, or your Google account on Android. It is a one-time purchase, so you never pay for it twice.

A purchase stays with its store: a rod bought on the App Store does not carry over to Google Play, or the other way round.

I watched an ad but did not get the reward.

A reward is given only when the ad plays to the end. If an ad is closed early or does not load, nothing changes and you lose nothing.

If an ad played to the end and you still got nothing, write to us and tell us roughly when it happened.

How do I change my ad privacy choices?

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, open Settings in the game and choose Ad privacy choices.

Anywhere, your device controls its advertising ID. On iPhone and iPad, allow or stop tracking for Tiny Tides in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's ads settings (on most phones Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads). Our privacy policy explains what the ads collect.

The fish keep getting away. Any tips?

Fish are wary. A steady reel gets them following but rarely biting, so once one follows, pause for a moment or give a small twitch. Reeling much too fast scares it off.

When a fish is hooked, watch the line meter at the top: keep it away from both the slack end and the strained end, and keep circling until the fish is in your hand. Replay the guide in Settings shows every lesson again.

Can I turn off the narrator, the music or the sounds?

Yes. Settings has its own volume and mute for ambient sounds, sound effects, music and the narrator's voice. Subtitles stay on screen even when the voice is muted, and you can change the language there too.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. Everything the game keeps is on your device. For data that Unity collected for ads or purchases, see our privacy policy.
