Tiny Tides

Tiny Tides privacy policy

Effective 23 October 2026

The game itself collects nothing about you. Tiny Tides has no account and plays offline. The only data that leaves your device goes to Unity Technologies, which provides the optional ads and the purchase system, to the store you buy from (Apple's App Store or Google Play) when you buy something, and to Apple when you use Game Center.

Who we are

Tiny Tides is made and published by Venture 18 Co., Ltd. ("we"), 25 Alma Link Building, 17th Floor, Room 619, Soi Chidlom, Ploenchit Road, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand. This policy covers the game on iPhone, iPad and Android. Questions about this policy or your data: [email protected].

What stays on your device

Your journey, settings, looks and your answers about ads are saved only in the game's own storage on your device, and in your device's own backups if they include app data. We do not receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Ads

Ads are optional. One plays only when you tap an ad button in the Shop, and none plays while you fish. Ads come from Unity Technologies, through its Unity LevelPlay mediation and its Unity Ads and ironSource Ads networks.

When you open the Shop and an ad can be shown, Unity's software may collect information from your device, such as device identifiers (Apple's advertising identifier on iPhone and iPad if you allow tracking; Google's advertising ID and app set ID on Android), approximate location from your IP address, device model, operating system, language and connection, the ads you see and tap, and app performance data. Unity uses it to show, measure and improve ads and to prevent fraud. See Unity's privacy policy.

Purchases

The Gilded Dusk rod is bought through Apple's App Store or Google Play. The store handles the payment, and we never see your payment details; see Apple's and Google's privacy policies for what they keep. The game uses Unity In-App Purchasing, which sends purchase events (the product, its price, the transaction ID, your device model, operating system and language, and app and installation identifiers) to Unity for analytics. See Unity's privacy policy above.

Game Center

On iPhone and iPad, if you sign in to Apple's Game Center, Apple keeps your achievements under your Game Center account. See Apple's privacy policy above.

When you write to us

If you email us, we use your message and email address only to answer you.

How data is protected

The game's own code sends nothing anywhere, and what it saves stays in its private app storage, which other apps cannot read. Ad and purchase data is sent by Unity's, Apple's and Google's own software directly to those companies, which protect it under their privacy policies; we do not receive or store it. Emails you send us are kept in our company mailbox, which only our staff can open.

How long data is kept, and deleting it

What the game saves on your device stays until you delete the app, which deletes it. We keep your emails only as long as we need them to help you, then delete them, and we delete them sooner if you ask. Unity, Apple and Google keep the data they receive under their own retention rules, and their privacy policies explain how to ask them to delete it; write to us and we will help.

Children

Tiny Tides is made for a general audience. It is not in the App Store's Kids category or Google Play's Families program, and it is not directed at children under 13. The game asks for no personal information, and we do not knowingly collect any from children. If you are a parent and believe an ad partner has collected your child's information, write to us and we will help you reach them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act and the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, and to object to its use or withdraw your consent. The game gives us no personal data about you. For data collected by Unity, Apple or Google, use the contacts in their privacy policies, or write to us and we will help.

Changes

We will update this page when the game changes how it uses data, and change the date at the top.
